I've heard unconfirmed reports it fixes the 36 hour TDR issue. That was already fixed in the version prior to 326, as I had these 35.47 hours or something like that they explained. This driver fixes the access violation bug for gk110 users. It does indeed! I have installed it on my GTX650ti system and my GTX590 system as well as my Titan system. Although the GTX590 system has had one TDR since then I think that was related to a power problem. The GTX650Ti system and my Titan system are both running strong and steady (been up for 3 days at least). So for me at least there has been no downside to installing the 331.40 beta drivers.
