Uh, there are some people reading my (HWiNFO) release notes :) |

Uh, there are some people reading my (HWiNFO) release notes :) Is that you're program? Did you write it? If so, what does NVidia think about that information getting out? I wouldn't mind picking up one of those cards for this project if it's close to the price of a GTX680, I just can't see paying $1000.00 US for it, that's 2 1/2 months worth of electricity for me. |

Yes, it is. That information came out from a different source than the one I'm bound by NDA. So they can't do anything to me, because I haven't breached the NDA :-) |

I guess nVidia will price this GPU at 700-800$, a somewhat higher reduction than the performance difference to the big Titan. Reasons: - they don't want to undermine Tesla sales further by selling cheap FP64 power - it's still got the advantage of being a single chip over SLI configs of smaller cards - it's still a big expensive chip @Mumak: double thumbs up for HWiNFO, I really like it! I think $650.00 is about my limit, kids are gone and I'm alone sense my wife passed away 7 years ago (I could rebuild my CJ5 304 in my living room, ha!). $700.00 is too much for me though, I just read that a Titan just got the world record for 3D Mark. Also, I like HWiNFO too, easy on the resources and seems pretty stable, great job. |

2496/2688=92.86% of the cuda cores, so ~$750 might make it quite attractive to some. Of course the actual crunching performance for here is still unknown, as it doesn't work yet. I would be optimistic about this one. In terms of performance/outlay it might outdo a GTX680 (~$600). The 'slightly narrower bus of 320-bit' and 1GB less GDDR5 shouldn't make much difference for here. It will be very interesting to see what the TDP actually is, or if it's open-design! TDP largely determines the max boost. So, will they drop it a bit (say 215 to 225W; two 6-pin power connectors needed) or keep it at 250W? I expect it will drop, but there might be bespoke versions too. This will mean there are high end 2GB, 3GB, 4GB, 5GB and 6GB GTX Kepler cards to choose from. As always, another GPU drives the prices down. FAQ's HOW TO: - Opt out of Beta Tests - Ask for Help |

Thanks guys, I'm glad you like HWiNFO :-) Now that I started crunching, I'm of course using it to monitor my machines and that brings me to new ideas how to improve it for such usage... If you have any ideas, just let me know ;-) |

It looks like the Titan LE will be to the K20 as the Titan is to the K20x. The Tesla K20 is also equipped with 2496 CUDA cores, 320-bit memory bus, and 5GB of memory. Price wise, the K20 sells for $3300 while the K20x sells for $4600. The difference may give some idea as to what the pricing of the Titan LE will be. I would estimate the price of the Titan LE being in the range of $700-$750. |
