I performed several searches and couldn't find the information I was looking for & figured a new thread would be acceptable for the question.

I wanted to donate some of my crunching time toward Volunteer/Beta testing, but don't want all my computers associated with my account to participate. It seemed like I could add separate location preferences for school, home, etc, and have the single computer that want to be a 'Tester' to attach under that separate preference. This seems like it could be my solution, but what do you change on the client app to differentiate which location preference to use?

On the web site you can set which computer belongs to which Profile.

Go to your hosts, select Details of the computer you want to move from one Profile to another. At the bottom of that page you can change the profile to Home, Work or School.

You can define the profile prior to or subsequent to setting computers against it.
