GTX285 vs GTX550Ti

I did a Nathan long run on the old GTX285. It took 27.72 hours with 59000 credits. The newer (but less better) GTX550Ti did also a Nathan LR (same type) and took only 14.7 hours with 70800 credits. I have read that the GTX285 is not very good for the new cuda4.2 app. That is true as I see that the cuda3.1 WU's are almost 3 times faster done on the GTX285 then the GTX550Ti.
