Dated the 27th of Feb. Sure enough the work unit it downloaded the files were a lot smaller than normal. Unfortunately transfer speed was normal (around 30-36k/sec). Does there have to be a WU configuration change to make use of the new compressed file facility? I'm using BOINC v7.0.52 alpha on Windows 7/64, though as MJH says, that shouldn't make any difference.
