I have noticed 2 tasks recently that have been stuck at 100%. One ran for 8 days before I noticed, the other one ran for 17 hours (similar task ran successfully in 10 hours). 37_14-NOELIA_hfXA_long_28p-1-2-RND3875_0 (linked) I tried suspending and resuming but it started back at 0.00% so I aborted it. 42_8-NOELIA_hfXA_long_34p-0-2-RND2291_0 (linked) I aborted it after 8+ days (cpu time was 739,594.83 seconds). is happening again, on 3 different systems: long run pp033_r2-TONI_AGGd8-21-100-RND4727_0 elapsed time 01d,17:09:47 stuck at 100.00% completion on GTX 660 Ti long run Ann157_r1-TONI_AGGd8-16-100-RND4211_2 elapsed time 02d,08:54:07, stuck at 100.00% completion on GTX 660 Ti short run I46R1-NATHAN_dhfr36_1-4-6-RND3593_0 elapsed time 03d,23:49:30, stuck at 100.00% on GTX 650 I will reboot all machines, hopefully it will not happen again. Well it seems that instead of being stuck at 100% they are stuck at 0%. BoincTasks was reporting as 100%, but when I connected to those machines with Boinc Manager it was displaying 0% with the elapsed time continuing to increase. I have at least 4 tasks or more currently doing the same thing. Elapsed time keeps counting up but completion stays at 0% forever. All machines with this behavior are running two GTX 660 Ti each, driver version 306.23 or 306.81, and Windows XP x64. edit: after aborting the tasks, all new tasks exhibit the same behavior until the system is rebooted, then the tasks seem to crunch as normal. Sounds like it was not actually a problem of the tasks, but rather that your machine was in a strange state (hence fixed by the reboot). It could well have been a previous NOELIA which caused this state. Good they're cancelled now. MrS Scanning for our furry friends since Jan 2002 |
