For the past three days the usual automatic supply of new WUs just before the running WU completes has dried up. I have to do a manual update several times to persuade the server to cough-up a new WU. I just lost an hour of crunching because of this.

Are we running out of "long runs"?

Everyone has the same problem.
The server is short of workunits. There are more hosts than workunits in the queue, so you (or the BOINC client) have to catch the moment when there is one workunit available.

That's a big Oops! We have processed 20,000 WUs over the turn of the year while the scientists were away for the holidays. Now the holidays are over and we've run out of WUs!!

Any idea when things will return to normal?

BTW - I have to say I am gob-smacked by your 1.5 billion credits!!!

The shortage is because ( written here in the forum) they want to activade a new app for smaller uploads. But there was a problem so it takes a little bit longer.

Exactly. Here is Nate's post about this.
So we don't know the exact date yet.
But this number of workunits we have in progress should be enough for the weekend, because the actual batch of workuntis generates about 50 times more workunits than the workunits we processed earlier (the batch called NOELIA_hfXA_long), so the number of workunits in progress won't fall so quickly like it did when the NOELIA_hfXA_long's run out.

There is a new batch of NOELIA_hfXA_long workunits in the lonq queue, so the Auto Downloads should be working now.
