I have been running GPU GRID while SETI@Home was down and I saw this "strange" bit of "something-or-another" All my WU's ran with "ACEMD2: GPU molecular dynamics v6.16 (cuda42)" in about 4.5 hours (Nvidia 550-TI). But the last one ran with "ACEMD2: GPU molecular dynamics v6.16 (cuda31)" in about 9.5 hours. Did I do something to change the environment (without knowing it) or is there just some CUDA31 WU's and some CUDA42 WU's?? Thanks for the info!! Ed Frybarger |

there are still some 3.1 apps. Technically you should not receive them if you have cuda 4.2 drivers installed but they come through occasionally. When I notice them I usually abort them or apply the workaround to make then use the 4.2 app XtremeSystems.org - #1 Team in GPUGrid |

I am sure I had a valid cuda31-workunit in my list, but now it´s gone, was it deleted to "clean" the list? |

Old WUs get deleted after some time, that's completely normal in the BOINC-verse. Otherwise the databases would collapse quickly. MrS Scanning for our furry friends since Jan 2002 |
