From what I see all 177 drivers are fine once BOINC recognizes your device.
It should report the name of your card as coprocessor, not CPU emulation.

If F@H works then your drivers are probably installed well, so I don't know why it does not recognize it.

Still no joy with 177.92 - BOINC still shows the device emulation...
Weird, but Folding runs fine with every driver since 177.35. :(

177.92 is a beta driver which was released yesterday. You can get it from nvidia.com ...
I´ll give it a try if it works on my PC.

OK, I found the beta drivers.

I too will test, but it will be tomorrow. I want to run the current 177.84 I installed this morning for at least 1 task on each host, to see if they complete and how slow. I will then update one of my two twins first and see what happens, especially if there is a speed increase.

The 177.92 drivers can be found here:
http://www.nvidia.com/object/winvista_x64_177.92_beta.html

I also keep getting the error on Vista 64 bit, and have Folding@Home running fine.

OK, I've got an error on 1 of 2 hosts, on the first attempt using 6.41 with 177.84 drivers on Windows XP. I do not know what happened, I think this was after I left work, although I did not check before I left if all was running fine.

<core_client_version>6.3.10</core_client_version>

I can not tell from home at the moment if they are still running OK.

But my home computer with Windows XP did complete its first 6.41 under 177.84 driver, its still in ready to report state, but it was 100% finished at 15:31:57 cpu time. The 2nd one has been running for 5.5 hours so far.

I've had this error on a P4 HT box. It seems more stable by reducing the clocks on teh card and preventing another CPU project from running at the same time.

You are not the only one, me and others are having the same problem :-/

For now I put the card that crunches the project to some other pc. Using the computer was really no fun while PS3GRID was running.

Once the problem is solved (assuming that it will be handled in future releases) I'm ready to buy one more card for my normal workstation.
