I don't think the project supports sli so I would say no. Just get all of those cards crunching |

but i have one computer with two lanes of 16 and 4. one computer with one lane of 16. i dont think the 460 and 570 could both crunch in the same machine with the same drivers. |

I think the 460 and 570 can be in the same computer at the same time. I have mixed 570s and 580s but I don't know about 460s and 570s. You may need to run 2 drivers and that should work with Win7 or XP. I think Vista has a limitation of only 1 video driver. Has anyone else mixed 460s and 570s? |

I would put the GTX570's into the system with two PCIE2-X16 lanes (if they really are). The GTX460 and GTX570 might work fine together in the same system, but you're only going to know for sure if you try them. They are mixed in that they are CC2.1 and CC2.0, but that's not as bad as CC2.1 mixed with CC1.3. FAQ's HOW TO: - Opt out of Beta Tests - Ask for Help |

I am running one system with a 570 and a 440, and another with a 570 with 2x 220. Never had any issues related to using the same driver. But, I would believe that you would take a bigger performance hit if you run a 570 at x4 vs. a 460 at x4. I would think you would want to separate those 570's to get maximum benefit. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong. But, you could just try it and see. |

Well I tried it, and I didnt get any work from the server. Then I tried folding@home and after some tinkering I did get it to work, and lucky me theres even room for a vga fan from newegg, and it is needed running at 100 percent, i was like 1 degrees over the recommended 97. I would of liked to stay with gpugrid, but it is all for a good cause in the end. |

When i get my second 570 in the mail it will be crunching for gpugrid. Something my smart ass brother told me, its not good to put all your eggs in the same basket. |

You're not allowing your fans to dynamically adjust are you? Depending on what brand you're using, you need to have those GPUs running at a steady fan speed. Do not let them control themselves. Otherwise you will have HIGH GPU temps. |

i was like 1 degrees over the recommended 97. You were running at 98C? Yikes. Get another fan, take the sides off the case, etc. That's blistering. It is summer and the temps can become a concern not seen during winter. |

Yea, I got a mobile air conditioner and a window air conditioner, cause its starting to get really hot. Ill just have to keep the mobile one pointed directly at it, as i can because the temps are rising, until i get a vga fan. It was downclocking it got so hot. |

I also wanted to say now that i remember that it wasnt heat that was causing downclock it was msi afterburn core frequency overclock that i had saved. As downclocking is the eternal enemy of a cruncher |
