We are going to upload a new application for cuda4.2 which will support Kepler. At first it will not be optimized for Kepler, but it will run on it. This application on Fermi is 15% faster than current production app. A GTX680 on it has the same speed of a GTX580 without changes to the code. Few changes are capable of making the GTX680 at least 10% faster than a GTX580, but the compiler is still too buggy to put it out. Linux first. gdf |

You'd need 295.x, 296.x or as far as I understand the GTX680 301.10. All of them have the sleep bug so you'll need to make sure it doesn't go to sleep or power save mode. BOINC blog |

When app will be ready, we have prepared one gtx680 for test with ubuntu 11.4 + Drivers 295.33 (x64). |

Linux first. So only at first for LINUX , i have understand. I am getting sick thinking of LINUX. Damned , i no distribution i have installed i managed it to install the latest Nvidia Dirvers, if i done it, there i was not able to start the KDE Desktop again, i dropped on console , and nothing. Is there any 100% functioning tutorial how i can setup any LINUX with Nvidia Driver sucessfully to start to desktop inviroment ? Greetings and best wishes from germany |
