Hi all,
I bought a pair of GTS 450 which I have devoted exclusively to this project.
They are mounted on two different motherboards with P4 processors (630 and 541), each with 1 core and 2 threads with similar speed (3000 Mhz and 3200 Mhz), but with a different operating system (P4 630 with Windows XP, P4 541 with a trial version of Windows 7 X86.

The performance of the GTS 450 are incredibly different.
I elaborate on both P4 630 3 wu (1 of 2 Gpugrid and Rosetta), the P4 541 only a wu Gpugrid ... and on the same type of wu wu Gpugrid of the P4 541 takes a 30% more time.
I looked for differences between the two processors that will list:

What should I do to get even the GTS 450 which processes the same performance under Windows 7?
Any suggestions would be appreciated, thanks in advance

Can't. We have tested exhaustively and as you have discovered, WinXP processes much faster than Vista / Win7.

HOW TO - Full installation Ubuntu 11.10

All done, i "killed" windows 7 and reinstall with windows xp ... GTS 450 is starting like a rocket !
