I currently have a GTX550TI and GTS450 running on separate systems. If was to use both cards in one system, what would I need to amend with regards to the config files in order to use both cards. Currently planning my next upgrade so looking at what the options are before spending the cash. |

Have you considered all the hardware issues? You need to add the, use all 'co-processors', option to a cc_config.xml file: <use_all_gpus>1</use_all_gpus> <cc_config> <options> <use_all_gpus>1</use_all_gpus> <report_results_immediately>1</report_results_immediately> </options> </cc_config> On Win XP create the cc_config.xml file in the following Boinc folder (which may be hidden, so just type it into the Explorer address bar), C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\BOINC\ FAQ - Best configurations for GPUGRID FAQ's HOW TO: - Opt out of Beta Tests - Ask for Help |

Maybe it running without any changes. In my case it worked that way with nothing changed. DSKAG Austria Research Team: http://www.research.dskag.at

Currently waiting for some bits to arrive.... have also acquired a GTX460 to throw into the mix. If I can't get it to work will run GTX460 in one cruncher and GTX550ti in the other, and then look out for another GTX460 to replace the GTS450. |

I thought some recent-ish version of Boinc, along with recent drivers, was able to see the second card automatically, at least on some Windows platforms, but I had to use <use_all_gpus> with Linux. I usually just add it into the cc_config.xml file anyway, as I also use report tasks immediately and swap cards around quite a bit when testing. FAQ's HOW TO: - Opt out of Beta Tests - Ask for Help |

I used time ago three differend Cards on one System and it works well ( GTX285 + GTX9800(+) and a GTS250. I can not remember any problems ( i use Win7 x64 ). If you have the board ( any Chipset will work, CF Boards also ) just plug inn and let it rock. |

Had a slight change of plans and swapped the GTS450 for a GTX460 and currently running the cards in separate systems. GPUGRID is only a side project, my main one being Docking@Home. Was thinking about upgrading to Bulldozer from my Phenoms but after finding out how poorly BD perform at D@H decided to stick with my existing CPU's. |

Maybe the BD has more success at Multithreaded Apps like ex-Aqua@home. |
