Recently, I had error while computing, on 4 GIANNI_KKFREE5 Units. They all ran on my windows 7 computer with a GTX 480 cards. All the errors occurred, while the unit was running on card 0, which is the bottom card, which runs a few degrees cooler than the other card. My monitor is connected to card 1. No other errors occurred on any other work unit type or the other card. I did register cleaner, defrag, virus scan, rebooting the computer daily, to no avail. I didn't install any new software. I shut down to clean the dust out of the computer every 2 to 3 weeks. I can't find anything wrong on my computer that is obvious. Are the GIANNI_KKFREE5 Units more sensitive to failure? http://www.gpugrid.net/results.php?hostid=74707&offset=0&show_names=1&state=5 |

They are a little harder on your GPU. They run hotter need more volts than other WUs types if you are overclocking. Thanks - Steve |

For our 4 non overclocked cards: all is ok. |

GIANNI_KKFREE5 tasks run fine here. |

I agree with Steve. I can see your clock is 1.51GHz (a slight overclock), so I suggest you reduce your frequencies a bit. You might get away with just reducing the GDDR speed, but if not tone down the GPU too. Are you controlling the GPU temperature using a tool such as MSI Afterburner, ASUS GPU Tweak, EVGA Precision? It's often the case that the GPU closest to the CPU is the hottest; heat from the CPU radiates onto the back of the GPU. |

I reduced the graphic speed little bit, and hope this does the trick. Temperature is not the issue here. The errors occurred on the cooler card (card 0) running GIANNI units. There were no errors on the TONI nor IBUCH units. Thanks for the help. |
