Although having a Chuck Norris badge would be a great idea, we are going to choose slightly more educational ones. They'll be related to Chemistry and Molecular Biology. The badge system will be structured in two levels: - The usual credit-based ranking: badges per credits. - A new "completed projects" system. These badges won't be assigned in real-time, they'll be bound to real scientific production: publications. Once a project gets published, badges will be given to contributors (ranked as well) with a link to the specific piece of research. Just a final note, we are NOT going to implement any project selection feature (i.e. WCG) on GPUGRID. We wanna keep it simple. Anyway the GPUGrid amino acid badge is for total credit, it's not comparable to the sub-project badges of other projects such as WCG, yoyo or primegrid. If anything you should be comparing the water molecules to these. For example, What you can see from the water molecules is the number of publications you contributed to and the relative contribution you made. While you can't tell the project (outside of GPUGrid) I think that is sufficient; by going to the users page you can see the details. You should be able to shrink the credit badge yourself.
