I see you have a few mid-run failures over the past several days. - exit code 98 (0x62) ERROR: get_Dvec() element 0 (b) called boinc_finish This might be related to a problem discussed in this thread. Alternatively, you might have a system or GPU issue. When you get a grouping of failures such as you did, it's usually a good idea to restart your system. Check your systems temps, fan speed and if you are overclocking reduce it a bit. Are you using fan/temperature controlling software such as EVGA Precision or MSI Afterburner? |

Hi skgiven, I restarted the system yestrarday morning and since then I had no errors. 5 WU completed and validated. At the moment I am using boinc version: <core_client_version>6.12.34</core_client_version> gpuz: GPU Core Clock: 781.1 MHz GPU Memory Clock: 1002.0 MHz GPU Shader Clock: 1564.0 MHz GPU Temperature: 65.9 C FAN Speed: 26% GPU Load: 69% VDDC: 1.0630 V I am using factory defaults. Graphic card: ASUS GTX 580 DirectCU II Fan Control: Asus provide the application Asus Smartdoctor. On the Fan control tab, the "auto fan control" is set. So I think it was only windows. the only difference this time is that I waited 1 minute before logging in. (just to give time windows to load all the drivers) I waited, because I 've already had issues with windows 7 on my laptop and vpn. If I log immediatly then the cisco vpn doesn't work. (I have to wait 15 seconds to have no problems. (SSD and i5)). This is why I waited 1 minute on my desktop. The disk is no so fast and the procesor is a Q9550 Best regards, Alejandro |
