Sorry guys and gals.

No word from or signs of GDF yet. I\'ve notified him by several emails. He must be taking a long weekend and of course whenever that happens the project is sure to break.

Be patient and this will get corrected as soon as possible.

As most of you know, there was some kind of server error yesterday. Mostly forums or data driven pages were out of order. It has been fixed as all works fine now.

It seems GDF is missing in action. A report has him spotted in Mexico/Guatemala.

Please be patient with awaiting answers to problems during his absence.

I do now have a way to make contact should we have more server problems and hopefully get it back working more quickly.

This morning i received this message in BOINC.

There will be new work tonight. We are changing the credit system.

Have you guys solved the PS3 firmware problem by making a new USB build image?

That would be nice, as I have been on zero success since I began here.

Sure, I could run the client from one of my HD installs, but that is not my goal. My goal is to get it up and running off my thumb drive USB stick. The new otheros.bld file, and a new kernel from Geoff at Sony incorporated into your \"pen drive\" zip file would be nice. Not complaining, just reminding you that it has been a while since this problem reared its ugly head. Doesn\'t look like the quoting thing on this board works right... I dunno.

Last night I started getting the \"No work from Server..\" message again.

This morning shows 225 wu\'s \"ready to send\", but still no work....

I see these messages too on my PS3.

I have reported this problem to GDF and GG, hopefully someone will be able to look into very soon and get the scheduler back to sending work.

Note: This was at 231 Ready to Send, 152 in progress.

Just checked my task list. I picked up a WU!!

The \"Ready to send\" is down to ~190, So WU\'s are going out again....

New server

For some mysterious reasons the new server is less reliable than the old one.
The number of times it goes down is much more. In the next few days, we will try to do an update of all software components to see if the situation improves.
Part of the problems we had in restoring it quickly was due to the fact that no one was around during Christmas.

Hope that the stability goes back to normal ps3grid standard soon.

We are testing new workunits, while the old ones are ending. There will be a large batch submission once they have been validated. Probably, tomorrow.

Looks like complainig worked: received new WUs half an hour later... ;)

And regarding yoyo: tried to connect...but without positive result... :(
