My brother purchased a Shuttle x35 computer that has a dual core proc and shockingly an nVidia ION chipset that's cuda enabled for his truck (hes a long haul truck driver) only to decide to use a laptop instead.. So he has this little $250 machine and no use.. Figured I might take it off his hands to play with (its tiny!) but was wondering if it would be worth using as a grid machine.. As I understand it, the ION chipset only has 15 cores.. Would that even be worth bothering with? |

No, you would need about 90shaders for it to be of any use. It would not finish tasks in time. You could use the CPU at WCG for HCMD2. |
