I tried to crunch for GPUGRID several weeks ago with a Nvidia 9800GT (GE). All my WU's timed out with no credit. So be it. I read the forums to understand a bit what happened and to my surprise i found posts of people crunching with Nvidia 9600 GT's.Even talking about buying more 9600's !

Looking back, i don't recall how old were these posts and that could very we'll be the answer to my question but anyway, i see that people are crunching with GTS 250's and these cards use the same G92b processor as the one in my card.
