Two of my computers have run workunits of the new beta. The runtimes on these WUs are normal but the credit granted is meager by any standard. What's with these workunits?

On Linux your 8800GT runs the v6.37 app very slowly ; Time per step (avg over 40000 steps): 424.126 ms

It is not using the CPU enough that's for sure.

Well, usually you get extra credit (not less) for beta tests to compensate for the increased risk of failure! I see the same problem: I got nearly a factor 2.5 lower credit per unit time. The fact that the new client uses nearly no CPU does not nearly compensate for the lower credit...
