I had many errors today and amongst the classical issues I found this one: # WARNING. Your license expired or is about to expire. Please write to info@acellera.com for a license extension. ACEMD program seems to be the property of Acellera Ltd in London. Which is not viewed as a sponsor of this program. Does this mean that part of the errors I'm collecting are caused by the source in Barcelona due to a lack of managing license rights ? |

It isn't necessary to install a CUDA ToolKit {2.2/2.3}, when running ACEMD2: GPU molecular dynamics v6.11 (cuda31)? These toolKits are used for Compiling OpenCL/CUDA/BROOK, IIRC. Another issue, OC'ing these FERMI based GPU's , like GTX480, isn't usefull, except the amount of heat and power consumption, used extra, only gives Compute Failiars on my XP64 system. Running everything 'stock', even the CPU, otherwise I'm experiencing computational error's. Since I don't experience these faults, when running SETI CUDA_FERMI or Einstein's CUDA? If you dont find overclocking useful don't do it, but many do find it increases performance, at least up to the point they start to get failures. Usually an increase in cooling is required to facilitate overclocking. |

Thx for that! I'm on my way to reset a couple of systems that have been replying with this mystic warning. |
