One task already past 24 hour deadline. The 48h deadline would be worse, as new results would be send to other computers although the WUs are prbably already crunched. I'm getting Server can't open Database as well. Is this a problem with GPUgrid or is it a result of traffic and everyone trying to upload/report completed tasks? |

We have blocked the resubmission of unreturned workunits past the 48 hours. So now it's 5 days until things get back to normal. The DB is on and off. Maybe too much load. gdf |

All my finished tasks have now uploaded. Up until a few minutes ago my systems were still not able to report tasks to the database (different from the results upload location). They are now reporting and I am getting new tasks. People should note that the backoff period (the time Boinc waits to try to communicate with the GPUGrid servers) can be rather long; one of my systems is at 17h. I suggest you try to manually update now and then every hour or so, but not every minute, until you succeed in reporting tasks and getting new work. Thanks, |

I think 5 days should be more than sufficient even with this: People should note that the backoff period (the time Boinc waits to try to communicate with the GPUGrid servers) can be rather long; one of my systems is at 17h. I had to do it as well (was at 18h :P), but now both results are reported and I've got a new one.
