Hi, did anybody experience a problem with the fan speed of a Fermi not going down after finishing a crunch session? It happened here with a GTX 470, linux, drivers 195.36.15. Temperature goes down, but fan speed still > 90%. |

Dont use Linux but that sounds similar to a problem reported for a different driver in the past, in which case the fan speed dropped and stayed low (a worse situation). You might want to try the latest Linux Beta, http://www.nvidia.com/object/linux-display-amd64-256.25.html |

Did you try nvclock? sudo apt-get install nvclock sudo nvclock -f -F auto I skgiven advised to use it since my temps are terrible. I use: sudo nvclock -f -F 99 My temps are better now. Thanks skgiven!
