It's a bug in BOINC which does not "purge" cancelled/aborted/errored WUs. It was reported, but the proposed fix didn't work. They will go away at some future server update. Kamran at Aqua hit the same problem within the last week. David's suggestion: Kamran: Check out from trunk (relevant stuff is in html/ops). Go to the admin page and click "Transition all WUs". This will cause the transitioner to reprocess all WUs, possibly unsticking WUs in limbo. Also: are the old WUs for apps that you're not running any more? If so, make sure that you're running an assimilator for those apps (you can use the sample_dummy_assimilator). Otherwise the WUs will be stuck in a "waiting to assimilate" state. If this doesn't do the trick, send me the DB record for a WU that's still stuck. -- David worked for them.
