I've had some tasks running recently where the Elapsed Time has been 12 hours or more, and there is very little progress (5-10%). When I look at GPU usage, it is hovering around 5% or less, where I usually get in the 65-70% range. I aborted the tasks as they would have timed out anyway.

Here are the work units/tasks and results:

http://www.gpugrid.net/result.php?resultid=1838766

The card is an EVGA GTX 260 (216 cores), and it's running Windows 7.

The card has run almost 50 tasks, and has had very few errors. Any idea what causes this?

Per chance did you update the driver to 19634 recently?
If so you might want to roll back to 19562, and restart. I even use the older 19038 on my GTX260sp216 and it runs well.

It might be a one off, but I would restart anyway, and keep an eye on the tasks just in case the problem reoccurs.

Are you hooked up to any other projects, and are you running any other GPU tasks?

I just updated to 196.34 to try to fix this problem. It seems to be running fine now, but I will keep an eye on it.

I also run Rosetta and Docking on the CPU, but nothing else on the GPU.

Had another one do it. It's not every work unit - very strange:

Oh, and that one went something like 16 hours and was only 9% done or so.

Task 1163524 looks VERY strange!
Aborted by user 60,127.99 442.87 3,977.21
Only 442S on the CPU after 60K on the GPU, that cant be normal?
