BOINC Client Shutdown

(I am a Linux User in Training, and use the Graphical interface...) I changed to the \'Simple\' view, and the instead of changing back to the \'Accessible\' view, I just closed the window. This action shut down the BOINC Client (for about 12+ hours, until I went back to check progress). I have never used the \'Simple\' view, I was just interested to see what it looked like.
