I write from Live Linux, booted from USB-stick {Version from 02/11/08} on PS3 but NOT BOINC-client is running.

Could you explain in more detail the error?

here more details:
- I\'ve downloaded ps3grid_live.zip dowload from ps3grid.net & wrote to USB-stick
- PS3 boot up without error from this stick
- graphical system is gnome with user casper
- user ps3grid is not available
- I\'ve downloaded BOINC software for this system
- after install the error is \'cant find libssl.so\'

IMHO the system for the stick isn\'t correct - it\'s missing the BOINC-software and/or the user ps3grid on the stick:-(

It should be on your home casper directory. Anyone else had this problem?

- caspers home directory is empty
- the program boinc or any is not on the stick
not on ~/casper | /bin | /usr/bin | /usr/local/bin

Question: what is the root and caspers passwd?

i\'ve found the problem.
the home.img isn\'t mounted!

the answer to this problem
mount /home.img /home -o loop=/dev/loop1

Only root can this :-((

Edit:

home.img was not correct written on USB-stick.
I\'ve rewrite on stick - it works perfect.
