According to the server status page there is no work to send. So until the guys are back in the office (or online) better find something else to entertain your GPU's. Cheers, MarkJ BOINC blog |

We are in. Thanks Ignasi. I managed to pickup 3 so far and the server status shows 495 available at the moment. No doubt more getting produced to keep my GPU's warm :-) BOINC blog |

Hi, I haven't been receiving any jobs since Jan 21st. Is there a problem I couldnt understand why. I am running Milkyway@home and gpugrid since I joined boinc and they were both working flawlessly but now gpugrid receives no work. |

Hi, I haven't been receiving any jobs since Jan 21st. Is there a problem I couldnt understand why. I am running Milkyway@home and gpugrid since I joined boinc and they were both working flawlessly but now gpugrid receives no work. According to server status there's 800+ wu ready to send. Have you checked you BOINC messages tab, make sure its actually asking for work. It should say something like "GPUgrid: date/time Requesting work for GPU". Sometimes BOINC gets stuck. In this case try stopping it (and terminate any running science apps) and then restart it. Failing that a reboot of the machine. If BOINC isn't asking for work after that it may be that the debts for other projects have accumulated and its favoring other projects until the debts get back in balance. BOINC blog |

Open Boinc Manager in Advanced View. Goto the PROJECTS tab, Click on Milkyway@home, Select NO NEW TASKS. When the queued tasks have completed Boinc should then download and run a GPUGrid task. You can allow new Milkyway@home tasks later, if you want. |

I realized on the messages tab it says Requesting new tasks for CPU for the GPUGRID project. So I clicked the reset project button and tried again. Then it said Requesting new tasks for CPU and GPU and started downloading new tasks. Thanks |
