Hi b@llzilla, I don't know if it will do any help, but when i tried putting in a second graphics card, I had to edit the cc_config.xml file (or create it) in the c:/programdata/boinc folder and put in a few lines like this: <cc_config> <options> <use_all_gpus>1</use_all_gpus> </options> </cc_config> And go to Advanced -> Read Config file. With regards to the cards erroring, I can't help there. That could be caused by many things probably. They are not too hot are they? |

just an update on this problem lotsa problems, but its all running now First up, to get the EVGA 4WAY Mobo working with 5 GPUs I had to go into bios and set "low memory gap" to "3G" instead of "Auto"...dont ask me why, but it worked :) Next I had to roll back my drivers to 190.62 Finally in order to get BOINC to see the gpus they had to be active in nvidia control panel... enabling sli on my 295s allowed boinc to see 4 gpus, enabling physx on my 285 allowed boinc to see the 5th 1/26/2010 7:46:55 AM NVIDIA GPU 0: GeForce GTX 295 (driver version 19062, CUDA version 2030, compute capability 1.3, 896MB, 596 GFLOPS peak) 1/26/2010 7:46:55 AM NVIDIA GPU 1: GeForce GTX 295 (driver version 19062, CUDA version 2030, compute capability 1.3, 896MB, 596 GFLOPS peak) 1/26/2010 7:46:55 AM NVIDIA GPU 2: GeForce GTX 295 (driver version 19062, CUDA version 2030, compute capability 1.3, 896MB, 596 GFLOPS peak) 1/26/2010 7:46:55 AM NVIDIA GPU 3: GeForce GTX 295 (driver version 19062, CUDA version 2030, compute capability 1.3, 896MB, 596 GFLOPS peak) 1/26/2010 7:46:55 AM NVIDIA GPU 4: GeForce GTX 285 (driver version 19062, CUDA version 2030, compute capability 1.3, 1024MB, 708 GFLOPS peak) |
