I have posted about 100% failure rates on a 8800M GT system, others have posted about other instances of high failure rates.

BUT I cannot see a single response from anyone that could actually assist.

Do I abandon GPUgrid on this system? Can't see any sense in running stuff to completion or near co0mpletion just to have it fail.

I simply don't know. It has all kind of errors.
If it's in a laptop it might be that it gets too hot to work properly.

I tried running the Wu's some time ago on my Q6700 Laptop with a 8700M GT some time ago. The Box ran the Wu but it took about 3 Days to do it and the Box 's Video Card ran real hot the whole time too. I decided it just wasn't worth it and haven't ran one since on it ...

I have sorted it out, I think. I backed out the 6.10.18 Boinc manager client and went back to 6.6.38. I have succesfully run a GPUgrid WU today. I suspect that it is a problem with BOINC, given that is all I changed.

Hope this helps, I suspect it may solve some of the 8xxx and 9xxx GPU problems I have seen here.
