250 million! The two 680s I just brought back to the project have really helped speed things up. Daily totals are approaching the 2 million mark.

I was briefly on the front page of the User Rankings today (#20)! Currently I've fallen back to #21.

I hit 50 million!!!!

Hi, guys.

New to this BOINC project; just started crunching for it on my home PC last weekend. It's the only computer I crunch on as I like that I can do more with it and make use of it for good causes. I have other computers I could crunch on too, but they would only have a very small fraction of comparable crunching power, so it would be negligible in comparison, and this way I can keep a more meaningful score for this computer as in a way this computer is a representation of myself, that is being "my computer," though I do upgrade it as needed. Hope this makes some kind of sense. Also, I'm not in a financial position where I could afford more computers of this kind of caliber.

Anyway... I'm pleased to say that I've gotten in total over 40 million credits crunching for BOINC over the previous 2 years or so.

The reason for this post though is that I'm very pleased and excited to say that this project is well suited to make use of my video cards, seemingly almost amazingly so in comparison to the other projects I crunch for. I am roughly averaging so far 1 million credits per day!

In a little over a month from now, I will hopefully double the amount of credits worth of computation this computer has done in total over two years!

I am very pleased that this project is able to be optimized enough to take advantage of the crunching potential of my computer and can only wonder why other projects aren't, given the huge advantage (at least crunching from computers like mine) in doing so.

Getting over 1 billion credits, as some have done well to do, on what I would normally have assuming could only have been achievable on many computers they owned, seemed well out of reach at the rate I was able to crunch on "my computer."

It is my declaration now to strive to achieve over (if not well over, taking into account upgrades) 1 billion credits within 5 years on this computer.

Many thanks to those at GPUGrid for their well optimized project. I'm very pleased that my computer's potential can be put to this much more good use for humanity! I do not earn a high enough wage to be able to give to charity in a more meaningful way than this, though I am in the fortunate position of being able to reliably have a "high-end" self built computer thanks to the kind of work I do. (On the other hand, my family's electric bill is double that of the average of our neighbors in our apartment building.)
