Hi All, I rebooted my computer because I had weird video issues (blinking pixels randomly turning on and off.) I've re-installed the 190.32 driver on Linux 64-bit, but now I can't download new tasks. I also noted that I've got like 7 or more errors in a row after the last upload. What's going on here? Mike Doerner

If you get too many errors in one day, and it sounds like you did ... well, so that you don't burn through the entire inventory of tasks, well, your system will not be able to get another task for about 24 hours. I don't recall when BOINC resets the clock, but, once it does and you get another task and complete it successfully you will be able to get two ... then four if those complete as well ... and so on ... It is a safety feature. It is mostly annoying when we get caught by it. If you are in a hurry you could use another project to fill in till tomorrow. |

video issues, those are classic signs of a card in the process of going bad in my experience. |

Maybe, maybe not. 1st time it's happened. I'm on Suse Linux which requires a double-install of drivers on version 11.1 to crunch. If it happens again......I'll start looking for a new video card....;-) Mike Doerner
