Hi Can XP detect 3 vga cards ? I have 2x280, 1x285 and 1x8600gt cards. I failed to setup three cards running under windows xp pro sp3 on my motherboard M3N-HT deluxe mempipe which bios version is 1701. The BIOS showed only one display card (which may be normal) but windows could never detect more than two cards. The power supply should be OK cos all 3 VGA cards were with green led lit. My computer took 420watt when it was folding with 2x280 cards. All combination of the cards and pci-e slots have been tried, but no luck. All cards were checked healthy. I read the database of computer ID and found some members here got 3 cards running under XP (all are same model?) I want to put three GPU cards (2x280 + 1x285) on one MB to minimize base loads and save electric bill. Please help. |
