Last time I posted this, I got 1 work unit within a few minutes. Perhaps one needs to post this (unreplied to) lament in order to get a work unit. That being said, it would be seriously nice to know what is going on regarding the periodic lack of new work here. The lack of work and lack of specifics regarding that lack of new work is getting to be 'SETI-like'. These days there is a serious lack of alternatives for CUDA processing. SETI is essentially running down -- with virtually no new work (CUDA or otherwise), Collatz is totally offline (as of yesterday morning), Aqua stopped providing GPU work a while ago, and MilkyWay has GPU work only for the relatively limited number of higher end cards that support double precision. So the lack of work here, on what has been the lodestar of GPU collective processing is depressing. The lack of explanation as to what is going on simply adds to the angst. I realize this message might well go unreplied to -- that seems to be in the nature of things. Looks like there is no new CUDA work to be downloaded. Perhaps due to a lack of other projects supporting CUDA at the moment (SETI being SETI, MilkyWay being only for high end CUDA cards - 250GTS or 9800GTX are NOT enough, and Collatz being offline as of this morning). I hope we're not work starved until after the weekend |

no work here too, i've switched to seti beta and running some of their wu's. another option is milkyway for my gtx260, that's my last resort in a couple of hrs. |

As a quick work around: Collatz is back up (or has not been down again the last time I checked ;). Some of their hardware failed and hey got a new IP, which may require a manual scheduler update or a restart of BOINC. MrS Scanning for our furry friends since Jan 2002 |

Thanks for the information on Collatz -- I cleared my proxy server dns cache, exited BOINC, than ran ipconfig /flushdns on the workstation and restarted BOINC -- problem solved there. As to GPUGrid -- we are still in a bit of an informational vacuum -- though I realize it is the weekend and the admins seem to be very respectful of the concept of 'weekend'. I don't run SETI beta -- heck the regular SETI -- I joined there in the pre-BOINC days of 2001, has been 'beta-like' enough for me these days. Unfortunately, my highest power card is a lowly GTS250, along with some other 9800GT cards, and they are too humble for MilkyWay due to its double precision requirement. But Collatz is back and running so I have an alternate GPU project to work with once I clear the GPUGrid caches. no work here too, i've switched to seti beta and running some of their wu's. |

We had a temporary glitch in the auto-generation of new work. I'm working to fix it. Please let us know if you experience download errors. Thanks for the patience. |

Same here...this was Day 2 for me after getting a new 9800GTX+, and suddenly no work. Thought it was something wrong with my setup (driver, eg.) Just got a new WU. Thanks. |
