There is an outstanding problem with 216 cards mostly during FFts. We don't have any to test. Can anyone affected by this problem give us remote access to one of their machines (Linux is highly preferred) for testing? gdf |

At home (where you could access) I have 1x 260(216) that works flawlessly and 1x 295 that fails every other WU, both run linux64. At work I have 1x 260(216) on linux64 that fails every WU but I can't allow you in I'm afraid. If the 2 home machines are any use for your tests, you're welcome to use them |

I guess that access to host 5581 would be useful. Send me a private when you can. thanks. gdf |

i have a 192 that fails every packet(not currently running on the grid until this is fixed).do you think this card would also be affected by FFT's? |

Hiho, I've got a "bad" 260 with 216 shaders (Win XP Sp3 / I can test a Linux after Simap is out ou WUs for this month). http://www.gpugrid.net/show_host_detail.php?hostid=17755 Everything was fine till Grid says: No Wu for this old driver (182.*) With the 190.* I've only receive errors. One thing I have observed: The temperature remains constant at ~60 degrees (normal GPU temp @100%) till the first wu breaks down. After that the temp goes down to idel temp (40 degrees). Grid continues its work normally (with errors) Now I'm trying to find a solution. (Several drivers / BOINC versions). If you want to test some special thing(remote), pleas send me a PM. WhiteFire |

I mean when you install 190.xx something breaks. Then you tell windows to deinstall these, you install the old drivers (185, 186) which have previously been working and you still get the errors. That's because something is still messed up and the driver remove wasn't as good as it should be. That's the point where one should really try the procedure Zydor suggests. It has already helped some people. MrS Scanning for our furry friends since Jan 2002 |

182.50 was worked fine till Grid tells me that the driver ist to old ( and recived no more Wus). So I'm not sure if I can use this version of the driver again. Actualy I have the 186.18 installed. It never worked with that ver of the driver. In the next step I will go back to 185.* and will test again. WhiteFire |

These are test WUs which we have run to sample the extent of the FFT bug problem. As they don't have FFTs, they run fine... Could you give us access to this computer to perform some tests? Maybe, we can find a workaround. thanks, gdf |
