Since the new application is running, I have massive screen lags, up to a 2 seconds, while playing a game like SIMS 3 and crunching GPUGrid on the graphic card and MilkyWay on the CPU. With the old application I never had this problem. And I don't have a weak card, I use a GTX295 on a AMD Phenom 9950 with 8 GB RAM. This should be enough power. Also some time i got a video driver failure and lost a WU. If I stop GPUGrid and crunch SETI, I don't have any problems while playing the game. What's wrong with this new CUDA 2.2 application? Or is it the new driver 186.18? My experience is so far, that I have a damaged card (a GTX260²) and my best card has screen lags. What's next?

The card is ok, I have also sometimes screen lags with my TV card, not so much as with older drivers >182.50 but its terrible. |
