I've removed the 9400 Gt but boinc still wants to use it, and gives this which is causing comp errors.... <core_client_version>6.6.28</core_client_version> <![CDATA[ <message> One or more arguments are invalid (0x80000003) - exit code -2147483645 (0x80000003) </message> <stderr_txt> # Using CUDA device 1 # Device 0: "GeForce GTX 260" # Clock rate: 1350000 kilohertz # Total amount of global memory: 939524096 bytes # Number of multiprocessors: 27 # Number of cores: 216 # Device 1: "GeForce 9400 GT" # Clock rate: 1350000 kilohertz # Total amount of global memory: 536870912 bytes # Number of multiprocessors: 4 # Number of cores: 32 ERROR: Invalid parameter detected in function (null). File: (null) Line: 0 ERROR: Expression: (null) Should i just detach and reattach....? and maybe the read out of my computer will change back to just 1 gpu, the 260. I see you have driver version 186.18, which I believe was reported to cause trouble. Try rolling back to 185.85 or 182.50. Kind regards Alain |

You're still using that driver, aren't you? MrS Scanning for our furry friends since Jan 2002 |

seti runs fine, and so does aqua.... This doesn't tell us much except that your driver install isn't totally broken. They're using different code, so a bug in these drivers may be triggered by GPU-Grid but not by their apps. MrS Scanning for our furry friends since Jan 2002 |

since gpu(cuda is still somewhat new to boinc...I think boinc still has fully integrated cuda/gpu's..... of different makes and models.... I recommend Secunia PSI: http://secunia.com/vulnerability_scanning/personal/ |

Rest assured that the BOINC Devs would dance a whole day if there was only a single bug left. BTW, are you referring to the "I have 2 different GPUs but only one is shown"? If both are crunching away I wouldn't mind what BOINc is showing. MrS Scanning for our furry friends since Jan 2002 |
