Greetings,

On a free ps3 ubuntu install (2.6.22-14-cell), I\'m unable to start the boinc client. I ran the install.sh file, then tried to start the RUN_BOINC from the command line. I get the below.
./RUN_BOINC
./boincmgr: error while loading shared libraries: libcrypto.so.6: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

thinking that it was a issue with the links to these lib files, I set the below, but it still doesnt run.

cd /usr/lib
ln -s libssl.so.0 libssl.so.6
ln -s libcrypto.so.0 libcrypto.so

Any ideas on what I could do to fix this ?

Try ./run_client and see if it works.

Are you sure you have all the right libraries?

Hello everybody,
I\'m new with PS3 and I installed YDL with working BoincManager and PS3Grid account. But I don\'t like it, so I tried psUbuntu, which is much smaller and I like it much more... But as Mitchell wrote, BoincManager is not working. I tried both PS3Grid version and official Boinc Manager download via Add/Remove software tool in Ubuntu, but with no effect. I can see boincmgr proccess running, but no window appears. When I tried run_client, client runs (I can see in terminal messages as in Boinc Manager in Windows), but I\'m not able to control it via BAM... Any suggestion?
Thank You in advance...

The compiled version of the boinc manager available on the PS3GRID usb key may work. The problem is in the libraries required by the client.

Hello,
I copied libraries with similar names that is needed by BM (as it writes error messages in terminal), so the BM should work, but as I wrote, proccess is running, but I can\'t see BM window, so I can\'t use it for attaching to BAM. Can You, please, upload somewhere compiled BM and needed libraries?
Thank You in advance!
