Hi, reading a review of the RC1 I stumbled across this:
Is this what will solve the lag problems under GP-GPU? That several apps can issue commands to the vid card at the same time, so that the GPU is no longer locked while executing the tasks and screen refreshes can still happen? Of course the driver / GPU-scheduler still had to be smart enough.. but with nVidias strong push towards GP-GPU I don't think this would be a show stopper.
