Is it possible to extend the dealine for all WUs in progress some days more? I have to switch off now for a week and cannot wait until the server is back.

one of the things I will never understand - I've been crunching quite a number of projects, but with no other one it ever happened that the upload server ran out disk space.

This has only happened at GPUGRUD several times over all the years :-(

How come that there is no kind of automated control/warning system since a check of the disk space by the people themselves obviously is not possible ?

I have, plenty of times at plenty of projects. What's more annoying is when a project has configured a high capacity storage cluster or similar as an upstream forwarding facility. When that fills up, BOINC lets you upload the entire 175 MB or whatever it is, and only then tells you that the secondary is full or offline. Think yourself lucky.

when all still running tasks are finished on a given machine and their status changes to "uploading", I plan to make recent Windows Updates, which will result in rebooting the system.

Can I be sure that the finished but not uploaded tasks are definitely in a backup status and will not be gone after rebooting?

I have deleted something, but I am not sure that I can totally fix it before Monday.

Seems to have fixed something or allowed my uploads to go through.

Upload server again "out of space" :-(

Does this happen in weekly intervals now?

Damn! Only some hours late.
But I have uploaded the data now nevertheless to fill the disk again.

I would suggest to prevent uploads if the server already knows that the WU will not be counted. This might save some ressources.

Is the issue still there or some other issue as my system do not see any tasks at all? Suddenly it stopped downloading work like 5 days ago.

this is not a server issue.
If you look at the Server Status page - there are simply now tasks ready for download
