Hi, I would ask a suggestion and your comments.
I have a computer with AMD 5700G APU and I would like add a 1060 GPU. Are you aware if I can manage GPUGride WU for NVIDIA 1060 and also AMD WU BOINC Milkyway@Home that I'm managing now?

Many thanks

Happy New Year

Roberto

you shouldn't have any problem with that. GPUGRID doesn't have any AMD application.

I don't know which version of the 1060 you have, but keep in mind you could encounter problems with the 3GB version, as PythonGPU needs a lot of RAM.

Robertobit - GPUgrid doesn't care what CPU you have but it only runs on Nvidia GPU's. MW will run on either AMD APU/GPU or Nvidia GPU's. When you don't have GPUgrid tasks you may get some MW running on the Nvidia card. Just set your priority high for the GPUgrid resource share and you should be good. A GTX 1060 6Gb card would be best however it is doable on the 3GB version. Just don't try running it on the GT 1030 2GB card that won't cut it. Depending on how this works out you might want to setup a cc_config file to separate your APU/GPU projects.
