I wanted to purchase a Asus GTX1070 the price was around £420 a month ago and now well over £500 if you can get one in the UK.

I've never seen such a high demand for gpu's in my whole 3 years of being in computers... it's crazy!

The Prices are so high to the point where I can finance a gpu and barely pay more compared to a up front cost. Usually financing costs are much more in the long run, but not from what I've seen lately!

I bought 2 GTX1060 cards just before xmas...... Looks like I got them at just the right time as their price has shot up by about 33%....

They replaced my 2 old GTX670 which both started failing within a couple of weeks of each other...

I ordered an evga gtx1070 from newegg just before Jan 1. I already had bought a liquid cooler built by eVga on ebay real cheap. Newegg canceled my order "out of stock". I assume it was "out of stock" at $435 as a week or so later I found the same one "in stock" at over $1,200

Currently, I have an eVga liquid cooler for 1070, 1080 "reference" cards but I cannot get a "reference" for anything under $1000 unless used on ebay.

Here are some pictures that show where those cards went
