my CPU times have basically tripled . I just did a unit that was within 24 hrs . have the work units changed ?

No, the workunits haven't changed that much.
1. Perhaps your GPU is downclocked itself, check its real GPU clock with a GPU management tool like GPU-Z, NVidia Inspector, MSI afterburner or something similar. (if your GPU clock is lower than is should be, you should restart your host to restore normal operation)
2. Your CPU is FSB based, so if you run 4 CPU tasks simultaneously, they could saturate the FSB which could result in severe GPU task performance degradation.

I do not check that computer very much my total run is about the same but cpu up a bunch . I was returning units 2 at a time within 24 hrs . I will look for more issues
