Dear fellow crunchers,
has anyone tried the final released version yet? Does it work with GPU-Grid (I wouldn't expect any special problems)? And: does the performance change? At Einstein a higher GPU utilization has been reported, but nothing conclusive yet.

I use windows 10 from the first public test version.
So since October 2014 on all computers i use only win 10 test builds.. Also today I have on all computers Windows 10 Only.Trial or full final on this main computer..
I have not noticed any problems or BSOD. for all the time. It's really interesting-))
even on some build me some time to work the involvement of two 680 nvidia and one ati radeon 7970. I just inserted the card into the pci-e slots (X79), and Windows start automatically download drivers and BOINC began counting at the same time GPUGrid and milkyway projects. it was excellent.but it worked only a few weeks I think ..
Remember my first installing windows 95 from a floppy disks when was introduced in the final version (hw problems and no internet) .. Windows 10 is an excellent piece-)
If somebody would compare this performance operating systems. if someone want to do.-) |

I too am running on a Beta to release version of Win10 and it is working just fine for me too. I am also running Boinc version 7.6.6, because I also run MilkyWay tasks, and everything is still good. |

Yep, I've been running Windows 10 as primary OS since October 2014. I've had a few problems, but as far as running GPUGrid in BOINC, it's solid. |
