Save your pennies! If you are intent on buying high-end for GPUGRID, the 780(with or without ti) is a better choice.

The Black edition should drive down prices of the GTXTitan, GTX780Ti, GTX780 and possibly the GTX690.

Titan Black is a slightly higher clocked GTX780Ti (faster than Titan) with full DP support at 1:3 SP (Tahiti provides far better value in DP) and 6 GB RAM (not beneficial to any BOINc project as far as I know). It's a card for a special niche, but this niche is not ours.

And if I have read and understand correctly, that 6GB can not be used in Windows, 4GB seems the max. Also a 4TB disk is the maximum Windows can handle.

Some games and pro software can exploit the 6GB GDDR, and some CUDA apps like lots of GDDR and DP (Fluid dynamics), its these areas that will drive prices down, despite the Black ed not niching to here. In the grand scale of things, GPUGrid is but a sub-micro niche.
