That is crazy. The GTX770 is basically an overclocked GTX680 and the GTX680 was a $499 card. That's a $170 price drop. | |

That's not crazy. It's been a long time since the GTX680 was at 500$. And arguably it shouldn't have been there for so long - judging it by die size it's actually an upper mainstream chip which has traditionally occupied the price spot in the 200 - 300$ range while still turning in a profit. | |

The NVidia cuts are a direct response to the forthcoming launch of the Radeon R9 200 series, and NVidia's own 780Ti launch. | |

I am checking prizes in the Netherlands daily for a 770, 780 but I don't see any drop currently. Perhaps after 7 November? | |
