I'm running Ubuntu 9.10 x64 with a Nvidia 9800GT. I had a kernel update today (to 2.6.31-16) and after a restart every unit GPUGrid started died on start with the same error: <core_client_version>6.10.17</core_client_version> I'm running Boinc ver. 6.10.17 installed from boinc.berkeley.edu and NVidia driver ver. 185 installed by synaptic-ubuntu.I've tried de-ataching and reataching the client, but i can't check anything right now because i've reached the 10 WU limit on the project. Any ideeas? If it was posted somewhere else on the forum about this error, please excuse me, but i searched and didn't find anything. Also, i haven't been around this forum a while, since the project seem to run pretty smooth until now.

it's a good habbit to "reinstall" driver after kernel update.

Well, the first driver was installed by Ubuntu (i just clicked on "use proprietary drive"), so the kernel module was rebuild after the update, and the driver worked. It just didn't work with GPUGrid.
