Message boards : Multicore CPUs : ps3 pen drive username and password

A ps3 I have setup with the pen drive install is located remotely from me and it looks like I can ssh into the box. The issue is I don't remember entering a username and password. Isn't the username by default root and the password hard coded in the live image? If so what is it? Thank you in advance.

Thats what I figured. TBH if I was going to go to effort to enable accounting and remaster an image its probably just easier to install YDL. Oh well I do like the simplicity of the usb setup and the fact I don't have to install anything on the hard drive. As long as the science app performance is on par I will stick with the usb live images. It actually seems that the usb image is slightly faster than YDL science app wise, probably due to less overhead from having less daemons and processes running. Thanks for the reply and good job on the image.

Actually to login through ssh on the pendrive version of linux (website has now hid it which is a shame because it is actually well done even if dated but can still download at http://www.ps3grid.net/live/ps3grid_live.zip) simply use

Please note as mentioned by GDF you won't be able to make any changes that are permanent after logging in except to your own home directory (casper user) but this is still very useful for many so I wanted to share the info. I have ripped hard on this project and no longer waste my time running gpugrids buggy science apps but this memory stick version is actually really good and works well and I will give props for it.
