The effect of the ray trace technology upon GPU direct compute capability has so far eluded me. I don't know if it is usable in the math coprocessor functions the GPU is performing.
Can anyone enlighten me?

in general no, for the RT cores.

the Tensor however cores could possibly be leveraged in some calculations, but so far I haven't seen any project leverage them, it would need to be coded in.
