If I get no more tasks , my GTX 650 Ti GPUs will be idle in 5.5h and 9.5h respectively. In the morning, if there are no GPUGrid tasks, I will put the GPUs to work folding for Alzheimer's research at Stanford University.

Good night, fellow crunchers,

JCM

It looks like we can't quite trust what the http://www.gpugrid.net/server_status.php tells us.

Unless the Project managers are adding Long tasks 2 or 3 at a time :). It's been showing 2 tasks available with ~2000 running all day.
It seems there are some long tasks there, I've completed 2 short tasks, 2 long and currently crunch another 2 long(Nathan) tasks since this morning when they ran out.

There are plenty of short tasks available, so I'm leaving that box checked until we know there is a steady supply of long tasks available.

I have submitted new tasks to long. They are what should be the last round of NATHAN_dhfr tasks. I will also submit more stuff to short in the next day or so. In the coming weeks we should have some new and exciting stuff to send you guys also. Well, it won't be exciting until we get results we can publish, but I thought I would share some of the optimism we feel here.

Happy crunching!

Thanks Nate!
It's nice to know that the research is progressing and new stuff is on the way :)

I'm trying to get to 25Million before the end of the month - I want some Valine !
Looks like I might have to go an extra day to make it, as long as the tasks keep coming :)

I was starting to think this project was you're own "Private Idaho", what happened to all the other project scientists? Are they all on a sabbatical? Anyway, thanks for the update, I wish you folks could find the time to do it more often (give us updates), it means allot.

On this particular Monday night, I'm seeing no tasks available to run on any of the three queues - short, long, and Beta. I think that's a first: have we really finished? Have we found everything there is to find?

Of course not! More stuff has been submitted today from both myself and a new visiting scientist (who we will introduce in another thread).

Work Units, thank goodness.
You provoked an unwelcome existential moment, I might have to go and lie down.

I know it's Sunday (June 2), but the long queue has dried up, and I just spent too much of my pension on a faster card :(

Don't let Mitt Romney hear you say that, or retired for that matter. ;-)
